Here at Camp F.L.E.I.G. we understand that keeping your children safe is the #1 priority. This is why the Camp Director, all counselors and support staff have passed the background checks required by the state of Pennsylvania in order to work with Children. These tests are:
- Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check (Act 34). Applies to individuals hired as of January 1, 1986.
- Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- Federal Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) in a manner prescribed by the Department of Education.
Millersville University and Millersville Borough also boast stellar Police and Fire Services. The Millersville University Police Service is a 14 member strong force that patrols the University premise 24 hours a day/7 days a week. A Mutual Aid Agreement, developed cooperatively with the Millersville Borough Police Department, allows University Police to leave the campus to assist Borough officers and vice versa.

Shenks Hall is conveniently located adjacent to Millersville University. It is approximately a two-minute walk to the Student Memorial Center and Gordinier Hall. Parking is provided in lots on site and within walking distance of the Hall.
